Returns Policy

Anson Audio Trading and/or their affiliates (Anson Audio Pte Ltd) offer returns for most items within 7 days of receipt of delivery if the items come with manufacturer defects.

At Anson Audio, we want you to be happy every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items and by law you have the right to cancel the purchase of most manufacturer defects items within 7 days without giving any reason. You also have statutory rights where goods are not as described, not fit for purpose or not of satisfactory quality.

Statutory Cancellation Right

You have the statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 7 days beginning with the day you receive the item (please see clause 2 of our Conditions of Sale for the full instructions on cancellation and further information on your right of cancellation). Return Methods

In most cases, Anson Audio will provide you with a pre-paid returns label if the item(s) is defective, damaged or incorrect. If you return the item(s) for any other reason, you will have to bear the direct cost of returning these goods. You may be liable if the value of the goods returned diminishes due to the handling of the goods (except when it was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods).

Please note that certain types of items aren’t eligible for cancellation or return under our returns policy. You can find out more in the Conditions of Use & Sale.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you our fees and expenses if the product isn’t received in new, unopened condition.

Repair & Service

Below you will find information if you return item(s) to us for a repair, or if a repair is required due to defective or damaged item(s) under the warranty period.

 

  • All returns must be sent to us by traceable postal services with adequate insurance. Anson Audio cannot be held responsible for any missing units that have not been returned to us in this way.
  • We may not be able to return packaging. If it’s sent in to us in original packaging we cannot guarantee the return of this.
  • If your return has a suspected power issue, please return ALL charging accessories.
  • We aim to repair your device within 7-10 working days, however it can take up to 14 working days to fully process and return your unit.
  • A copy of the Proof Of Purchase is required when returning an item(s) due to defective or damaged item(s) under the warranty period.
  • Items which are outside of the warranty period may be subject to a repair cost (see below costs).
  • We reserve the right to send you repaired/refurbished stock.
  • If your device is sent in with a fault that cannot be seen or replicated, it may be subject to a No Fault Found cost (see below costs).
  • As part of the repair process, we may update the firmware to the latest available version. Anson Audio cannot be held responsible for any personal user data that is lost or deleted.

Repair Costs

If a repair is required, Anson Audio may charge a fee if the item(s) are outside of the warranty period, or if they fall under misuse. Please see our Limited Warranty & Conditions of Use and Sale for more information. If the item(s) is subject to any costs, you will be notified prior to work taking place.

Should you decline a repair cost, there will be a charge of SGD$80.00 to cover the inspection and return of the item.

Repair Guarantee

Anson Audio guarantees all repairs for 90 days from the completion date. This guarantee only covers the original reported faults, all other fault conditions will be treated as a new failure and charged accordingly. The guarantee DOES NOT cover damage however caused. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.

YOUR RIGHTS AND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights that vary by state, province or jurisdiction. The disclaimers, exclusions and limitations of liability under this Limited Warranty will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law. For a full description of your legal rights, you should refer to the consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction, and you may wish to contact a relevant consumer advisory service. This Limited Warranty is in addition to your legal rights in relation to the Products and does not affect your statutory rights. In particular, this Limited Warranty does not limit the legal warranty obligations imposed on the seller and you may claim your rights under the legal warranty against the seller.

  1. WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: PERIOD OF COVERAGE

Anson Audio Trading, No.1 Coleman Street #01-02 The Adelphi, Singapore 179803 (“Anson Audio”) warrants to the owner of the enclosed Anson Audio-branded product contained in this box that the product (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery following the original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If the Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty during the Warranty Period, Anson Audio will, at its sole discretion, either (a) repair or replace any defective Product or component; or (b) accept the return of the Product and refund the money actually paid by the original purchaser for the Product. Repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at Anson Audio’s sole discretion, to the extent that this is permitted by local laws in your jurisdiction. If the Product or a component incorporated within it is no longer available, Anson Audio may, at Anson Audio’s sole discretion, replace the Product with a similar product of similar function. Any Product that has either been repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the terms of this Limited Warranty for the longer of (a) ninety (90) days from the date of delivery of the repaired Product or replacement Product, or (b) the remaining Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original purchaser to subsequent owners, but the Warranty Period will not be extended in duration or expanded in coverage for any such transfer.

  1. WARRANTY CONDITIONS: HOW TO GET SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY

Before making a claim under this Limited Warranty, the owner of the Product must (a) contact Anson Audio Hotline +65 93399619 during the Warranty Period to provide notice of their warranty claim and describe the alleged failure, and (b) comply with Anson Audio’s (or its authorised distributor’s) return delivery instructions. Anson Audio will have no warranty obligations with respect to a returned Product if it determines, at its reasonable discretion after examination of the returned Product, that the Product is an Ineligible Product (defined below). Anson Audio will bear all costs of return delivery to the owner.

  1. WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

This Limited Warranty does not cover the following (collectively “Ineligible Products”): (i) Products marked as “sample” or “Not for sale”, or sold “AS IS”; (ii) Products that have been subject to: (a) modifications, alterations, tampering, or improper maintenance or repairs; (b) handling, storage, installation, testing or use not in accordance with any user guide, placement guidelines or other instructions provided by Anson Audio; (c) abuse or misuse of the Product; (d) breakdowns, fluctuations or interruptions in the electricity supply or the telecommunications network; or (e) Acts of God, including, but not limited to, lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake or hurricane; or (iii) any non-Anson Audio-branded hardware products, even if packaged or sold with Anson Audio hardware. This Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, including batteries, unless damage is due to defects in materials or workmanship of the Product or software (even if such consumable parts or software are packaged or sold with the Product). Anson Audio recommends using only authorised service providers for maintenance or repair. Unauthorised use of the Product or software can impair the Product’s performance and may invalidate this Limited Warranty.

  1. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

EXCEPT AS STATED ELSEWHERE IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUPERFI DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANSON AUDIO ALSO LIMITS THE DURATION OF ANY APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

  1. LIMITATION OF DAMAGES

IN ADDITION TO THE WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS STATED ELSEWHERE IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, IN NO EVENT WILL ANSON AUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGES FOR LOST DATA OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM, OR RELATING TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE PRODUCT, AND SUPERFI’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING FROM, OR RELATED TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THEM, ONLINE SERVICES OFFERED BY ANSON AUDIO PROVIDE YOU WITH INFORMATION (“PRODUCT INFORMATION”) REGARDING YOUR ANSON AUDIO PRODUCTS OR OTHER PERIPHERALS CONNECTED TO YOUR PRODUCTS (“PRODUCT PERIPHERALS”). THE TYPE OF PRODUCT PERIPHERALS THAT MAY BE CONNECTED TO YOUR PRODUCT MAY CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE DISCLAIMERS ABOVE, ALL PRODUCT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. SUPERFI DOES NOT REPRESENT, WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THAT PRODUCT INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE, ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, OR THAT PRODUCT INFORMATION OR USE OF THE SERVICES OR PRODUCT WILL PROVIDE SAFETY IN YOUR HOME. YOU USE ALL PRODUCT INFORMATION, THE SERVICES AND THE PRODUCT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK. YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR (AND SUPERFI DISCLAIM) ANY AND ALL LOSS, LIABILITY OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING TO YOUR WIRING, VEHICLE, FIXTURES, ELECTRICITY, HOME, PRODUCT, PRODUCT PERIPHERALS, COMPUTER, MOBILE DEVICE, AND ALL OTHER ITEMS AND PETS IN YOUR HOME, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT INFORMATION, SERVICES OR PRODUCT. PRODUCT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICES IS NOT INTENDED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR DIRECT MEANS OF OBTAINING THE INFORMATION. FOR EXAMPLE, A NOTIFICATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS NOT INTENDED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR AUDIBLE AND VISIBLE INDICATIONS ON THE ROAD OR IN THE VEHICLE AND ON THE PRODUCT.

  1. VARIATIONS THAT MIGHT APPLY TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or specific exclusions, so some of the limitations set out above may not apply to you. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of these limitations is unenforceable, it should be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. If this modification is not possible, the relevant provision should be deemed deleted. Any modification or deletion will not affect the validity of the rest of this Limited Warranty.

ANSON AUDIO TRADING AND/OR THEIR AFFILIATES COMPANIES (ANSON AUDIO PTE LTD) CANNOT PROVIDE ANY ASSURANCE THAT ANY PERSON OR ENTITY BUYING ITS PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY “AUTHORISED DEALER” OR “AUTHORISED RESELLER”, IS PROPERLY TRAINED OR EXPERIENCED TO CORRECTLY INSTALL FIRE AND SECURITY RELATED PRODUCTS.

BEFORE INSTALLING SUPERFI PRODUCTS, ENSURE THAT ITS FIRMWARE IS UPGRADED TO THE LATEST VERSION, AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FROM OUR WEBSITE. DURING THE LIFESPAN OF ANSON AUDIO PRODUCTS, IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP FIRMWARE UP TO DATE.

USERS SHOULD, WHERE APPLICABLE, CHANGE PASSWORDS FREQUENTLY AND ENSURE A HIGH- QUALITY PASSWORD (PASSWORDS SHOULD BE LONG AND COMPLEX ENOUGH, NEVER SHARED, AND ALWAYS UNIQUE). USERS WILL NEED TO REMEMBER THEIR PASSWORDS AS WE HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE DEVICE(S) AND ANY LOSS OF PASSWORD WILL REQUIRE A FACTORY RESET. FURTHERMORE, IT IS THE USERS’ RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP ITS ANTI-VIRUS SYSTEM UP TO DATE.

WHILE SUPERFI MAKES REASONABLE EFFORTS TO REDUCE THE PROBABILITY THAT A THIRD- PARTY MAY HACK, COMPROMISE OR CIRCUMVENT ITS SECURITY PRODUCTS, RELATED SOFTWARE OR CLOUD SERVERS, ANY ANSON AUDIO PRODUCT, SOFTWARE OR CLOUD SERVER MANUFACTURED, SOLD AND/OR LICENSED BY ANSON AUDIO, MAY STILL BE HACKED, COMPROMISED AND/OR CIRCUMVENTED.

CERTAIN PRODUCTS OR SOFTWARE MANUFACTURED, SOLD OR LICENSED BY ANSON AUDIO, CONNECT TO THE INTERNET TO SEND AND/OR RECEIVE DATA (“INTERNET OF THINGS” OR “IOT” PRODUCTS). ANY CONTINUED USE OF AN IOT PRODUCT AFTER SUPERFI HAS CEASED SUPPORTING THAT IOT PRODUCT (E.G., THROUGH NOTICE THAT ANSON AUDIO NO LONGER PROVIDES FIRMWARE UPDATES OR BUG FIXES) MAY RESULT IN REDUCED PERFORMANCE, MALFUNCTION, AND/OR INCREASED VULNERABILITY TO HACKING, COMPROMISE AND/OR CIRCUMVENTION.

THE ABILITY OF SUPERFI PRODUCTS AND SOFTWARE TO WORK PROPERLY DEPENDS ON A NUMBER OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE BY THIRD PARTIES OVER WHICH SUPERFI HAS NO CONTROL INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INTERNET, CELLULAR CONNECTIVITY; MOBILE DEVICE AND OPERATING SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY; AND PROPER INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE. SUPERFI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS OF THIRD PARTIES.

BATTERY OPERATED DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES HAVE A LIMITED BATTERY LIFE. WHILE THESE PRODUCTS MAY BE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE SOME WARNING OF IMMINENT BATTERY DEPLETION, THE ABILITY TO DELIVER SUCH WARNINGS IS LIMITED AND SUCH WARNINGS MAY NOT BE PROVIDED IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. ANSON AUDIO MAKES NO REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, COVENANT OR PROMISE THAT ITS PRODUCTS AND/OR RELATED SOFTWARE (I) WILL NOT BE HACKED, COMPROMISED AND/OR CIRCUMVENTED; (II) WILL PREVENT, OR PROVIDE ADEQUATE WARNING OR PROTECTION FROM, SPEEDING FINES, LICENCE POINTS, LASER DETECTION; OR (III) WILL WORK PROPERLY IN ALL ENVIRONMENTS AND APPLICATIONS.
