A workhorse stereo receiver
Stereo receivers tend to look very similar from the front, but the components on the inside and the connections on the back can make a huge difference. The Denon DRA-800H is designed for high performance, featuringa discrete high-current power amplifier that uses a symmetrical layout and a beefy transformer with oxygen-free copper windings. It’s also highly versatile: it can play music from digital and analog wired sources, stream wirelessly, and ?thanks to a bank of HDMI connections on the back panel ?even enhance TV sound.
The versatile Denon DRA-800H features multiple digital and analog connections.
An impressive array of connections
You’d be hard-pressed to run out of inputs when connecting other components to the DRA-800H. There are five 4K-compatible HDMI inputs withsupport for HDCP 2.3, plus an HDMI monitor output with ARC support. Onecoaxial digital and twooptical digital inputs on the back of the chassis let you connect digital music sources like a CD player or media streamer.
