A versatile amp for streaming and old-school sources

Build a flexible and great-sounding two-channel sound system around the Denon PMA-900HNE. This integrated amplifier gives you 50 watts per channel to drive your speakers, plus a wealth of digital and analog connections.

It’s also a Wi-Fi- and Bluetooth-enabled network player that gives you access to popular streaming music options, including Apple AirPlay 2.

Inputs and outputs

Streaming is super-convenient, but you may have a few classic components you want to connect. The PMA-900HNE offers three standard line-level RCA audio inputs, plus a discrete phono input for connecting a turntable with either a moving magnet or moving coil cartridge. You can connect a variety of digital sources, too — there are three optical digital inputs, plus an individual coaxial digital input. An Ethernet port lets you connect to your network to open up a wealth of streaming possibilities.

This amp has you covered on outputs, too. There are two sets of binding posts for connecting A/B speaker pairs, and a mono subwoofer output for adding a powered subwoofer. You also get a stereo RCA recording output for recording and a 1/4″ headphone jack for private listening.
